We were seen so quickly. The treating doctor was probably one of the kindest, genuine and professional people I have ever met. He was reassuring and knowledgeable. He is an absolute credit to the NHS. I can’t thank him enough. Thank you so much.
The doctor i saw put me at my ease and gave me no sense that I was wasting anyone's time. He is very thorough in eliminating all possible causes for my pain
I can’t fault the staff there as they are only working with what they had. However I called 111 with breathing difficulties and was booked for an appointment at 12.30pm. I sat there for 1.5 hrs before having to go to the nurse and say I have to leave soon as I have to collect my daughter from school. She told me I was some way down on the list but she did contact the doctor and I got bumped up the list so I was home just in time. My issue is that I was told not to go to a&e as that would mean you had no strict time however I think it is unacceptable to be given appointment and have to wait over an hour to be seen. What made matters worse not just for me but for the 5 people who had been there even longer than me was people arriving after and being seen before us. I appreciate people have different needs but i think if it’s an appointment service it should follow those rules. If it’s an emergency then the A&E is straight across the road! There was also no information given to patients,, maybe being able to see the list displayed or if a staff member came in to brief on waiting times then it would have helped.
Covid patients were mixing and using the same toilet as a&e patients in the waiting room. I waited 3 hours and still didn't get seen even though 111 said it was an emergency and that I needed to be seen within the hour
Excellent standards maintained by all staff
Felt safe in this current situation
Long waiting time in paediatrics
The care I received was good and was given in a calm and friendly manner.
Great and easy experience
The health assistant, nurse and doctor were all very kind and informative
the waiting was restricted to waiting outside, there were parents with small children and people in wheelchairs.
I am immunocompromised so this was not a good or safe option
the triage nurse wore the same gloves to use the computer, open the door, check someone elses temperature then exam my hand.
I was given a place in yellow treatment are which was next to the sluice
i waited 4 hrs to be seen. The team were short staffed and stayed on for extra hours to see patients.
no evidence of cleaning at all whilst I was there.
bo indication of wait times
